Student.

I'm Youssef Ben Hsan, a computer engineering student building a profile through practical work: binary exploitation, embedded electronics, and collaborative engineering projects.

I learn by building and documenting: writing vulnerable C binaries, developing exploits, experimenting with hardware integrations, and turning these projects into clear writeups and educational resources.

My goal is to grow into a versatile engineer who can move between software, security, and electronics — while sharing practical knowledge with others.

I reverse-engineered a hoverboard control card so it could receive motion commands from an ESP32 over UART instead of relying on gyroscopes. That setup powered our robot, MEGATRON, during development and competition runs.

This project was built collaboratively with three talented teammates who designed the robot body, assembled the system, and implemented additional electronics functions beyond firmware configuration.
